Join Us in Cincinnati

The Midwest Popular Culture Association / American Culture Association will hold its annual conference at the Hilton -- Netherland Plaza in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio. The conference will run Friday-Sunday, October 3-5, 2008. In addition to numerous panels, the conference will feature an evening reception, a guest speaker and luncheon, the annual business meeting, and a book sale.

Cincinnati is a city rich in history. A river town, Cincinnati boasts historic districts with unique architecture. Its broadcasting history is one of the oldest and richest in the country, as is its baseball. And don't forget the chili, which you can have one of five ways. The organization has arranged for a hotel rate of $135 plus tax. Room availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Make your resevrations through the hotel's Web site or by phone at 513-421-9100. Be sure to mention MPCA. The conference group rate is guaranteed through Sept. 12, 2008.

Proposals are due to the area chairs by April 30, 2008.
